The Fulbright Iceland Alumni Association (FFSÍ) hosted their annual Thanksgiving celebration on Saturday, November 23, at Breiðablik banquet hall in Kópavogur. Attendees enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving feast, including turkey with all the fixings. Áslaug Ásgeirsdóttir, Rector of the University of Akureyri, was the guest speaker for the evening, Erin Concors, Public Affairs Officer at the U.S. Embassy, served as the master of ceremonies, and the Commission ED was the quizmaster for the ever-popular Fulbright Pub Quiz. As usual, the guests were most excited about the prizes of the alumni raffle, which this year included a spa and hotel getaway, among others. Thanks to the Alumni Association Board for all their effort putting this great event together.
