Ministry for Foreign Affairs Grant Agreement Renewed

In December the Executive Director met with Þórdís Kolbrún R. Gylfadóttir, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, to renew the Arctic Studies grant agreement between the Commission and the Ministry. With the latest Fulbright-MFA Arctic Scholar arriving in August, eight U.S. scholars have received the grant to come to teach Arctic related courses at Icelandic universities since 2016.
