A Celebratory Send-off for Icelandic Grantees

A reception celebrated our Icelandic 2023-2024 grantees in early June. Six students received a Fulbright grant to pursue graduate studies and three PhD students received grants to conduct research in the United States. Three additional students received grants for 2023 summer programs. You can see a full list of grantees elsewhere in this newsletter. The Commission hosted the event at Iðnó, with speeches by the Fulbright Commission Executive Director and the U.S. Ambassador, who welcomed the opportunity to celebrate with this impressive group of grantees and their families.
