Meet the Grantees!

Fulbright Iceland is proud to announce the scholars and students selected for the 2025-2026 cohort!

This year, the U.S. group includes six Fulbright Fellows and eleven Fulbright Scholars, with a number of specialists still to be added. Six Icelandic students will be going to the U.S. in the fall and one Icelandic scholar, some on Fulbright grants and some on Commission grants. Additionally, we have three Fulbright Arctic Initiative IV scholars who are continuing their grants from the previous academic year. In the spring the Commission also selected five additional students to attend various summer programs in the United States in summer 2025.
